2. Using Our Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service.
You must not use our website in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website or interfere with another person's use of the website.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems, accounts, or any information that is not intended to be publicly available.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, materials, prices, and other product information displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.
Product photographs are provided for illustration and may vary slightly from the actual product due to lighting, photography, screen settings, natural wood characteristics, and other factors.
Where products are made from natural wood, variations in colour, grain, texture, knots, and appearance may occur. These natural variations are not necessarily defects.
We will not deliberately misrepresent the characteristics, quality, origin, or condition of our products.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and, where we cannot fulfil the order, provide an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law.
5. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).
We are not currently registered for VAT. Our prices therefore do not include a separately stated VAT charge.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate. If we discover a genuine pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order where appropriate.
We will not increase the agreed price of an order after the contract has been formed unless you have expressly agreed to the change or the law permits it.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making a request to purchase the selected products at the displayed price and on the terms shown at checkout.
After you place an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order request.
An order may be subject to availability, payment authorisation, and our acceptance of the order.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will notify you and, where payment has already been taken, arrange an appropriate refund.
7. Payment
We accept major payment methods available through our Shopify checkout, including major credit and debit cards such as Visa and Mastercard.
Other payment options may be available depending on the payment methods enabled at checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
Payment information is processed through the applicable payment provider. We do not intend to store your complete payment card number or security code on our own systems.
8. Order Confirmation
Once an order has been placed, we will normally send an order confirmation to the email address provided during checkout.
Please check your order confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.
Once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched, we may not be able to make changes to the delivery address or products included in the order.
9. Shipping and Delivery
We currently deliver to customers in the United Kingdom only.
Standard UK delivery is free on all orders.
Processing Time
Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days. Orders are processed Monday to Friday.
Order Cut-Off Time
Our standard order cut-off time is 5:00 PM London time. Orders placed after the applicable cut-off time may be processed on the next business day.
Transit Time
After an order has been dispatched, the estimated transit time is generally 3–6 business days.
Total Estimated Delivery Time
The estimated total delivery time is generally 4–8 business days, consisting of 1–2 business days for processing and 3–6 business days for transit.
Delivery estimates are estimates and are not guarantees of a specific delivery date. Delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, severe weather, public holidays, or other unforeseen events.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have where goods are not delivered within a legally required period.
10. Returns and Refunds
We offer a 90-day return policy for eligible products.
Our voluntary 90-day return policy is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Eligible products should normally be returned in new, unused and undamaged condition.
Return shipping is free for eligible returns. We do not charge a restocking fee.
Returns are handled by mail.
Refunds
Once an eligible return has been received and assessed, we aim to process the refund within 7 business days.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method used for the purchase.
The timing for the funds to appear in your account may also depend on your bank or payment provider.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory refund rights that apply under UK law.
11. Statutory Consumer Rights
Our 90-day returns policy does not replace or restrict your statutory rights.
Under UK consumer law, goods supplied to consumers must meet applicable legal requirements, including requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, and being as described.
If a product is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund, or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
These legal rights apply separately from any additional voluntary returns policy we provide.
12. Right to Cancel an Online Order
For most goods purchased online, UK consumer law provides a statutory cancellation period.
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, you generally have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days after receiving the goods without giving a reason.
There may be legal exceptions to the statutory cancellation right for certain types of goods or circumstances.
Our 90-day return policy provides an additional return period beyond the statutory cancellation period, subject to the conditions of our return policy.
For more information about how to exercise a cancellation or return, please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy.
13. Faulty or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or does not match its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order number and, where useful, photographs or other information that helps us understand the issue.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights and our applicable policies.
Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights concerning faulty, misdescribed, or otherwise non-conforming goods.
14. Delivery Problems
If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery period, please contact us so that we can investigate the delivery with the relevant carrier.
We will take reasonable steps to assist you with delayed, lost, or damaged deliveries.
Your statutory rights are not affected by any delivery estimate or limitation contained in these Terms.
15. Order Cancellation by Us
We may need to cancel an order in limited circumstances, including where:
- A product is no longer available.
- There is a genuine and significant pricing or product-information error.
- Payment cannot be authorised.
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.
- We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide an appropriate refund.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, page layouts, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Green Haven Home or Thomas Paul Paffett.
You may use the website for personal and lawful purposes.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or exploit our website content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
17. Website Content
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website information accurate and current.
However, we do not guarantee that every piece of website content will always be complete, current, or free from typographical or technical errors.
Where we identify a significant error affecting an order or product, we will take reasonable steps to correct it.
18. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, delivery providers, and other service providers necessary to operate our online store.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
19. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights or our responsibility for matters that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, we are responsible only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, where applicable law permits this.
Examples may include severe weather, natural disasters, major transport disruptions, strikes, government restrictions, widespread technical failures, or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
21. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights available to you.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products, services, or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with the relevant Last Updated date.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the contractual rights of an order that has already been accepted, except where required or permitted by law.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in another part of the United Kingdom apply to you.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from relying on mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under applicable UK law.
